Method

How the site keeps the magic without lying.

The research is powerful because it does not force every witness into one smooth story. This page explains the rule.

1. Freeze before comparing

Each source family is authenticated and delimited before it is compared with another family. A Thai visual witness cannot silently fix an early Pali omission. A medieval subcommentary cannot become the Samantapasadika by convenience.

2. Classify the claim type

The site distinguishes direct source wording, explicit quotation from another source, apparatus or variant reading, visual witness, later scholarly interpretation, public synthesis, false positive, and negative evidence.

3. Let uncertainty stay visible

If a direction, dimension, pairing, label, or manuscript caption is unresolved, the public page says so. That is not weakness. It is how the site earns trust.

4. Publish fewer better pages

The launch build favors fewer strong guides over dozens of thin pages. Thai pages and full manuscript claims remain unpublished until they are genuinely translated, transcribed, and reviewed.
